the articulated coordinate measuring machine, also known as the intelligent articulated
coordinate measuring machine, is a new approach to the 3d measuring machine developed
since 1980.recent years, the accuracy, stability and cost have dramatically improved, resulting
in further expansion of its application.
in the traditional cmm, such as the gantry and bridge types, the large precision bench and guide
rack are employed as motion components, of course, that results the bulk dimension and high
costs, also limits the application in the field.vice versa, in acmm, its polar coordinate structure,
multi-joint arms with rotation axis and the intelligent software are amalgamated into a new
machine, which is mobile, light weight, fast measurement onsite, and low cost operation.
relying on hefei university of technology and the technical partners around the world, in the
mid-2007, our r & d team had successfully developed the royalarm and passed the certification
